Summer vacations have been announced for educational institutions in Sindh province. Summer holidays will begin on June 1 across the province, including Karachi, the largest city in the country and the capital of Sindh.
The Sindh Education Department has issued a notification regarding summer vacations in schools and colleges. According to the notification, summer holidays will be from June 1 to July 31.
The decision regarding summer vacations will apply to both public and private schools and colleges. According to the notification issued by the Sindh Education Department, the decision was made in light of the recommendations by the department’s steering committee.
The steering committee of the Education Department had prepared a schedule related to teaching, examinations, and vacations in educational institutions during a meeting held on February 22, 2022.
Earlier, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had stated that in the summer zone, primary schools will have holidays from June 1 to August 31, while high and higher secondary schools in the summer zone will have holidays from June 15 to August 31.
The announcement stated that in winter zone schools, summer holidays will be from July 1 to July 31. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department mentioned that the holidays will apply to both public and private educational institutions. Before this, after Punjab, Balochistan also announced the 2025 summer vacation schedule for schools.
