Education development play essential role in progress of Balochistan province: Governor

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai paid a visit to the University of Balochistan (UoB) and said the development of education and the usefulness of human resources can play an essential role in the progress of Balochistan province.

During his visit, Governor lauded efforts of varsity and completion of building Sub-campus of Jangal Bagh on time. He said in a limited period Balochistan University has made momentous progress and also expressed satisfaction over the performance of the varsity.

He said the varsity would maintain its endeavor for the promotion of research-based knowledge along with the quality of education.

The Governor was briefed about the provision of education facilities including research activities, ongoing schemes of institutions, future programs, under-consideration other branches of the varsity in detail.

Vice-Chancellor of the university lauded Amanullah Khan Yasinzai for particularly focusing on the issues relating to the education and progress of higher educational institutions in the province.

The VC said provision of higher education is being ensured in the province through establishing UoB’s Sub-Campus varsity which was also a positive sign of poor students. Later, the Vice-Chancellor offered gifts and shield to the Governor Balochistan.

Vice-Chancellor University of Balochistan (UoB) Dr. Muhammad Anwar Panizai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Administration Dr. Muhammad Alam and other staff were also present on this occasion.
