KALAT: An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale jolted Kalat, the main city of Kalat District in Balochistan, on Wednesday night.
People came out of their homes in panic and started reciting verses from the Holy Quran. No loss of life and property was reported from any part of Awaran due to earthquake.
According to National Seismic Monitoring Centre, Islamabad, the epicenter of the earthquake was located near Kalat at the depth of 20 kilometres.

On March 9, earthquake tremors were felt in different cities of Balochistan including Quetta.
According to details, tremors were felt in Quetta and other areas including Chaghi this morning. Due to fear and panic, many citizens came out of their houses reciting the Kalima Tayyaba.
The epicenter was reported at 3.7 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 25 km. The epicenter was reported 62 kilometers southwest of Balochistan.
