Earthquake jolts parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad

Earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad and various areas across the country, including several cities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, such as Peshawar and Kohat, as reported by national media on Thursday. 

The Seismological Center reported that tremors of an earthquake were felt in various parts of the country, including Islamabad.

According to media reports, earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad and the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, as well as in Kohat, Swabi, and surrounding areas.

As a result of the earthquake, people rushed out of their homes and offices, and panic spread everywhere. There have been no immediate reports of casualties or property damage.

Earlier this month, an earthquake was felt in the Zhob district of Balochistan and nearby regions, causing panic among residents on Saturday.

On March 8, the Seismological Center reported that the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.8 on the Richter scale and struck at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter located 135 km southeast of Zhob. As the tremors hit, many people rushed out of their homes and workplaces in fear.
