KARACHI: Collectorate of Customs on Thursday arrested a Ugandan lady at Jinnah International Airport and recovered 1900 gram cocaine.
As per details, Collector Customs Madam Ubair Javid had received intelligence that a Ugandan woman, coming by flight PK214, has narcotics in her luggage. On this Javid deployed her special team for vigilance and when the lady entered Pakistan she was arrested.
The detained woman name is Christine melubega. She had hidden the high quality cocaine in her bag with delicacy. As per officials the recovered cocaine is worth Rs. 4.7 crore in international market.
The accused has been handed over to customs’ investigation and prosecution department for further investigation.
