KUALA LUMPUR: Dr Israr Ghani, a highly accomplished individual in the field of software engineering, has achieved a significant milestone by successfully defending his PhD dissertation at the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).
The defense showcased his expertise, vast publication record, and practical experience as a software engineer.
Dr. Ghani’s hails from the district of Rajanpur a rural and underprivileged area of Pakistan. The doctoral research focused on advancing software testing methodologies to enhance software quality and reliability to improve the software development lifecycle.
His work is considered one o the great contributions to software engineering. Under the guidance of his esteemed advisor, Prof. Dr. Wan Mohd Nasir bin Wan Kadir, he embarked on a comprehensive investigation into novel techniques for efficient software testing, emphasizing automation and quality assurance practices.
