Dozens of young men and women in Denmark recently embraced Islam together.
As per a video shared by RTE Urdu and other social media users, the young bunch was seen gathered in a mosque, listening to a cleric’s lecture after their conversion. The exact location of the ceremony was not specified in the video or caption.
Earlier this year during Ramadan, well-known American activist and writer Shaun King, along with his wife Rai King, also converted to Islam on the first day of Ramadan.
It should be noted that as of 2023, the number of Muslims in Europe has surpassed 50.3 million, making Islam the continent’s second largest religion. This figure contrasts with the third and fourth largest religions in Europe, each numbering between one and two million followers. Projections suggest that by 2050, Islam will become the world’s largest religion, spanning all corners of the globe.
