WASHINGTON: Iran attacked two US military bases in Iraq on Wednesday at about 1:30 a.m local time. This attack was a retaliation for America’s recent drone attack on Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani.
While the Pentagon announced, “Iran launched more than a dozen ballistic missiles against U.S. military and coalition forces in Iraq”. The Pentagon said it is still “working on initial battle damage assessments.”
The US President was acknowledged of the attacks and responded in a tweet stating, “All is well! Missiles launched from Iran at two military bases located in Iraq. Assessment of casualties & damages taking place now. So far, so good! We have the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere in the world, by far! I will be making a statement tomorrow morning.”
