KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee recovered its value by 29 paisas against the US dollar during intraday trading on Tuesday (today).
As per details, the exchange rate of the Pakistani rupee strengthened by 29 paisas against the US dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs. 164.03 against the previous day’s closing of 164.32.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates of dollars in the open market were recorded at Rs. 163.75 and Rs. 164.5 respectively.
In interbank trading, the price of the euro appreciated by 17 paisas and closed at Rs. 193.08 against the last day’s trading of Rs. 192.91, State Bank of Pakistan said.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs. 1.55, whereas a decrease of 14 paisas was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound which was traded at Rs. 212.70 as compared to its last closing of Rs. 212.84.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal declined by 07 paisas each to close at Rs. 44.65 and Rs. 43.73 respectively.
