Dr. Nazanin Aman from Hunza successfully hunted a 42-inch-long Himalayan ibex and won the title of the first female hunter of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Melaka Wildlife Officer Shabir Rumi confirmed the woman’s successful hunt and said that Nazanin has achieved the honor of being the first woman wildlife hunter in Gilgit-Baltistan.
They hunted in Bathura Hussaini in the Hunza region, which is at an altitude of 3500 meters above sea level.
Nazanin Aman paid Rs 180,000 for the hunt and it took her team four days to hunt while 80 percent of the conservation hunting fee is paid to local people.
