LAHORE: PMLN leader and Fedearl Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that dissolving any assembly isn’t an easy job as it needs money and energy. He expressed his firm opinion that Pervaiz Elahi would not dissolve Punjab Assembly.
Talking to newsmen here in Lahore on Tuesday, he said instead of demanding early elections, PTI should answer about its performance in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where they have miserably failed to deliver. He said general elections should be held on time. He said Imran Khan’s long march had landed in ‘nullah lai’.
Saad Rafique said assemblies should complete their tenure, adding that if the demand of early elections were met, no assembly in future would be able to complete its term.
Saad Rafique alleged that Imran Khan brought the country near default during his four-year tenure and now coalition government was making efforts to steer country out of economic crisis.
