Reality star Kim Kardashian has just opened up about the struggles of raising children as a single parent.
Kardashian discussed the hardships of motherhood during an upcoming appearance on Jay Shetty’s podcast. She discussed parenting the four children she shares with Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West: North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4.

According to Kardashian, she cries herself to sleep some nights while raising her children as a single parent. “There is nothing that can prepare you,” she said. Kardashian said that parenting is the thing that has taught her the most about herself.

For her, it has been the most challenging thing. “You know, with all the moods and the personalities and sometimes they’re fighting, and you know, there’s no one there. Like, it’s [just] me to play a good police officer and bad cop.”
Following Kardashian and West’s divorce in November 2022, the two share joint custody of their children and West pays $200,000 monthly for child support.
