Writer of drama ‘Chaudhry & Sons’ Saima Akram Chaudhry has spilled the beans about casting Imran Ashraf as Billu.
Saima Akram revealed in an interview said that she did not want to cast Imran as Billu as she was imagining him as Moosa from ‘Raqs e Bismil’ or Wali from ‘Badzaat’. She was, however, super impressed later on as Imran not only worked hard on her wardrobe but also added those rapper songs which Billu sings in many scenes.
According to Akram, his dedication and commitment have made Billu super beloved today. Saima Akram has big projects like Suno Chanda, Chupke Chupke, and Ishq Jalebi under her belt. Moreover, Akram promised to pen the third season of the hit show following the success of her most recent Ramazan offerings Hum Tum and Chaudhry and Sons.

Taking to Instagram, Saima wrote, “I am so overwhelmed by the response of my fans. This is the love I have been carrying since Suno Chanda season one.” She continued, speaking about the highly anticipated third season of the Farhan Saeed and Iqra Aziz starter, “If my fans showered the same love for Hum Tum and Chaudhry and Sons, this is my promise that I am going to write Suno Chanda season 3 – for the love of Suno Chanda.”
