Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood.
Recently, the Bollywood power couple appeared in the first episode of ‘Koffee With Karan’ season 8.
In the episode, the couple spoke about their dating phase when they weren’t fully committed to each other. During a conversation, the Padmavati actress revealed that she wanted to be single for a while because she had come from difficult relationships.

“I was going through a phase where I said ‘I just don’t want to be attached, don’t want to be committed’,” she said. Padukone continued, “And I had fun! And then he came along, so I didn’t commit, until he proposed to me.”
She added that there was no ‘commitment’ as such. “Even if we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other,'” she clearly mentioned.
Soon after what she said in the episode, it went viral in no time and many social media users reacted to Deepika’s confession. A huge section was unimpressed by her confession and one said, ‘Deepika just admitted their open relationship’, another wrote, ‘So queen mother Deepika confessed that she was seeing other people while dating Ranveer.’
On the other hand, a few users shared that it could be labeled a ‘situationship’ which is described as a stage between a committed relationship and more than mere friendship. The couple got married in 2018 and ever since then, they have been shelling out goals among many.
