KARACHI: The Director General (DG) of Pakistan Rangers Sindh Major General Omar Ahmed Bukhari presided over a high-level meeting at the Rangers Headquarters, Karachi to review security arrangements for 12th Rabi-ul-Awal.
Karachi commissioner, DIG traffic and other senior officials of Ranger and law enforcement agencies were also present in the meeting.
According to the Rangers spokesperson, Major General Omar Ahmed Bukhari directed to take adequate measures to ensure foolproof security for 12th Rabi-ul-Awal across the province.
The meeting also reviewed the overall security situation and strategy to deal with street crimes in the city, said the spokesperson.
Major General Umar Ahmad Bukhari called upon the participants of the meetings to play their role to maintain interfaith harmony and also ensure full implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to contain the spread of coronavirus.
The public is also urged to report suspicious elements, activities and untoward incidents immediately to the Rangers personnel, Rangers Helpline 1101, Rangers Madadgar WhatsApp No. 03479001111, through call or SMS.
Sindh Rangers and police along with officials of concerned departments devised a concerted action plan in connection with security and other necessary arrangements on the occasion of12th Rabi-ul-Awal.
