In Karachi’s Isa Nagri area, a woman fired shots after her car collided with a trailer, expressing her anger. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
According to a report, the woman fired at the trailer’s driver, who fled the scene and hid behind the police. Both individuals have since been arrested.
The PIB Colony police stated that a single case has been registered against both the woman and the trailer driver for driving negligently. The collision occurred when the trailer attempted to overtake the car. In anger, the woman drew a pistol and fired into the air.
Upon arrest, the woman presented a license for a 9mm pistol. The police noted that the license expired on December 31, 2023, and are investigating its authenticity.
In the First Information Report (FIR), complainant ASI Shabbir Ahmed stated that the woman was in a black vehicle. After the collision, she took out a pistol and fired.
The driver, Zafar Iqbal, was detained, and the woman, identified as Alisha Amir, was arrested for aerial firing. Further details are not provided in the case report. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
