KARACHI: Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that difficult and painful decisions will have to be taken regarding inflation in the country and everyone, including the people, will be affected by such decisions.
According to details, the former prime minister while talking to the media said that he hoped that the cabinet would take a better decision regarding NAB. “Prices of petroleum products will have to go up. Rising prices of petrol and other commodities will be a difficult decision for the Shehbaz Sharif government,” Khaqan said.
Talking to the media, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that difficult and painful decisions would have to be taken regarding inflation in the country. “We did not insult anyone nor abuse anyone. We did not make baseless allegations against anyone. Those who have returned to the country will have to answer,” he said.
During the conversation, the former prime minister said that Ishaq Dar wanted to return to Pakistan. “The National Security Committee will meet soon. The PTI members of the National Assembly who resigned will have to confirm that the resignations were not forced,” he added.
Earlier, the accountability court in Karachi heard a reference against former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and other accused for which Shahid Khaqan Abbasi appeared before the court. Later talking to media, Abbasi said that the country cannot function without NAB. It is in the country’s interest to end it.
