The body of the person who burned the Holy Quran in Sweden has been recovered from Norway, and the Norwegian police have started an investigation on the suspicion that he was allegedly murdered.
According to the report of Aaj News, Iraqi refugee Salwan Sabah Momika was found dead in Norway. After the body of the person was found, the investigation was started. He publicly burned a copy of the Holy Quran under police protection in Sweden.
According to a message posted by Salwan Sabah on the social networking site X, the man left Sweden to seek protection from the Norwegian authorities and accused the Swedish government of not accepting asylum.
According to the message, Momika said that he was persecuted by the Swedish authorities and that the person had also shown a sinister intention to continue the struggle against Islam and he was ready to pay any price for it.
Earlier, Iraq had formally requested the Swedish government to extradite Sylvan Momika, the accused person wanted in several cases including fraud, but the Swedish government did not act on Iraq’s request.
