KARACHI: Dead body of a minor found with his hands and feet tied in a ground located on Northern Bypass, near Afghan Colony, police said on Monday.
As per police, Additional IG Karachi has taken notice of the incident and has appointed an investigation team under the head of DIG West to probe it.
According to the details, the body of 5-year-old Khalid, son of Sher Agha was found in the ground near Nadran Bypass Afghan Colony, located in the jurisdiction of Gulshan Mimar police station.
Eye witnesses said that hands and feet of the deceased were tied with a rope. He was resident of Afghan Basti.
According to the police authorities, the deceased child was missing since 12 noon on Sunday, the family members of the child were searching on their own and did not file a missing report.
The father has told the police that he had no enmity with anyone, but the police are investigating further in this regard.
