ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday formed a 5-member committee to probe into the cypher related audio leaks attributed to former premier Imran Khan.
A notification to this effect states that the committee would be headed by Director FIA Islamabad Zone, while representatives from Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Military Intelligence (MI) not below BS-10 would also be included in the committee.
This came just a day after the federal government formed a high powered committee to investigate into audio leaks from the Prime Minister House. The notification issued by the cabinet division said DG ISI and DG IB were also included in the committee which was tasked to look into the alleged cyber security breach and suggest measures to improve the same.
The high powered committee was also assigned task to submit recommendations for security the sensitive data and improve information technology related environment in the future.
