LAHORE: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested seven suspected terrorists of the banned organization during intelligence-based operations in various cities of Punjab in view of the threat of terrorism.
According to CTD Punjab officials, among the arrested terrorists are Sher Muhammad, Abdul Khaliq, Ikramullah, and Najeebullah. The terrorists wanted to target sensitive installations and important personalities.

Officials said that CTD conducted 472 combing and search operations this week and 75 suspects were arrested during the checking of more than 8,000 people. CTD is committed to rooting out the menace of terrorism, officials said.
