Fast food is something of a necessity in the city of lights and Rashid Minhas Road is one of the areas in Karachi best known for its fast food.
In this environment when the T20 World Cup is underway, Cricketer Cafe of Rashid Minhas Road is making a name for itself with unique fast-food names.
“We named our café after some consideration,” Proprietors of Cricketers Café said “We are all cricketers. Therefore, you see our inclination in the names of our food items. For example, our most popular item is Grilled Chicken Burger, which is named after Virat Kohli’s sobriquet ‘Run Machine’.”
Cafe admin tells MM News that their favorite item in beef items is ‘King Burger’ being named after Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistani national team.
“In fact, we have named almost all of our menu after cricketers’ nicknames.” they said.
“We attributed our best food item to Babar Azam,” Café admin said “People who visit the café in Pakistani cricket team shirts get 15 to 20 percent discount.”
Any cricket team visiting the café gets special treatment, MM News told. The café price ranges between Rs250 to Rs800.
The Cricketers Cafe serves a wide variety of fast-food including strips, pizza fries, gyros and burgers.
