PSL CEO Salman Naseer described this as a milestone moment for fans, emphasizing that cricket is a powerful force in Pakistan and that they aim to connect deeply with fans’ hearts through the sport. Details regarding the broadcast, including English and Urdu commentary panels, will be shared in due course.
It’s worth noting that the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League will begin on April 11.
Earlier, the official anthem for PSL’s 10th season was released. The anthem features contributions from popular singers like Abrar-ul-Haq, Ali Zafar, Natasha Baig, and Talha Anjum.
While the anthem launched yesterday has not been widely praised by fans, it has nonetheless gathered significant attention, reaching 1 million views on Facebook in the last 12 hours and 300,000 views on YouTube. Viewership on other social media platforms varies.
Meanwhile, many fans reminisced about Ali Zafar’s previous anthems, particularly Phir Seeti Bajay Gi, and expressed that nothing could compare to the immense popularity of that track.
