Wahaj Ali, who has won hearts with his latest performance in two mega hits ‘Tere Bin’ and ‘Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha’, will soon be seen in an exciting role in the upcoming drama ’22 Qadam’.
Based on cricket, the drama will air on the newly launched channel ‘Green Entertainment’. Wahaj Ali starrer mini-series is based on the struggles of women cricketers and how a female cricketer played by Hareem Farooq fights the obstacles placed by society.
She will essay the role of a small-town girl named Fari, who dreams of becoming a cricketer. 22 Qadam is Written by Zeeshan Ilyas, ’22 Qadam’ has been directed by Anjum Shahzad.
The drama also features cricketer Sana Mir, the trailblazer who changed the landscape of women’s cricket not only in Pakistan but at the international level and has been the main name to help develop the game into what it is now.
