A Karachi court on Friday granted bail to Natasha Danish Iqbal, the main accused in the Karsaz road accident after the victims’ heirs forgave her
As per the details of an agreement between the victim’s family and Natasha Danish, the family signed an affidavit absolving her of any legal consequences. The document was presented in court and the court granted the bail. The bail was confirmed after surety bonds worth Rs100,000 were submitted.
The affidavit further states that the families have no objection to the accused’s bail application. It clarifies that the accident was not intentional and that the “no objection certificate” was provided without any pressure. The families have affirmed that the statements made in the affidavit are accurate.
Although the heirs claimed they forgave the accused in the name of Allah, some private TV channels have reported that the heirs received blood money and that Natasha Iqbal offered them jobs.
The Karsaz accident occurred last month, resulting in the tragic deaths of two people due to a road accident caused by Natasha Iqbal.
