ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the economy has been ruined due to the incompetence of the government.
Talking to the media, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the government was doing nothing but threatening and accusing the opposition. He said that the country was suffering from economic catastrophe and the government’s job was to do nothing but threaten the opposition. To date, no minister has spoken about the performance of his department.
The PML-N leader said that even Prime Minister Imran Khan had not spoken about the plight of the people to date as he did not even feel the situation of the poor. “The government has failed,” he claimed.

He said that the prime minister and ministers do not explain why flour is expensive in the country. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the PTI MLAs themselves were saying that the corrupt government of history was theirs. “The sooner the government realizes the plight of the people, the sooner a solution can be found,” he added.
