RAWALPINDI: Corps Commander of Peshawar Lt Gen Hasan Azhar Hayat visited Sararogha in South Waziristan tribal district and held meetings with tribal elders there.

According to ISPR, Lt Gen Hasan Azhar Hayat praised the local people and tribal elders for extending all-out support to the Pakistan Army during the war against terrorism.
He asked the tribal elders to form committees to ensure durable peace in their areas so that uplift work could be executed there, and assured every possible help in this regard.

On this occasion, the corps commander announced the upgrading of the Army Public School Sararogha to a college.
