ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the coronavirus has taught us how to be self-sufficient.
While addressing an event in COMSTECH headquarters, the prime minister said, “As a nation, we have a lot of potentials. We built our own ventilators and isolation centers.”
“Everyone is getting treatment in Pakistan after this pandemic as it doesn’t discriminate between rich and poor,” he said. The prime minister further said that it’s impossible to import products for millions of people.
While commenting on the Ministry of Science and Technology, the prime minister said that this department will take the country forward. “This ministry has a lot of potentials and it will definitely take this country forward,” he added.
While expressing disappointment over Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Imran Khan termed Modi a coward for imposing lockdown across India in haste.
“Modi did not think about daily wagers or labours. He just imposed countrywide lockdown in haste,” the prime minister added. He earlier today in a tweet said, “Undercover of COVID-19 global pandemic, the Modi Government with its fascist Hindutva Supremacist RSS-driven ideology continues its war crimes in IOJK as it violates the Fourth Geneva Convention by continuing its genocide of Kashmiris: and by attempting to change.”
In another tweet, the prime minister called on the international community to stop India’s continuing violations of UNSC resolutions and international law. He emphasized that the UN and the international community must stop India’s continuing violations of UNSC resolutions and international law.
