ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit the coronavirus isolation centre to inspect the arrangments in the federal capital.
The isolation center consists of 50-bed facility for the coronavirus patients in Islamabad. Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Lieutenant General Muhammad Afzal will brief the prime minister on the occasion.
Earlier, Imran Khan will chair the National Coordination Committee (NCC) meeting today over the ongoing epidemic coronavirus through video conference. This the third time, when the NCC meeting will be held in the same month. The meeting will be attended by the chief ministers of all provinces through the video conference.
The top leadership of the country will also discuss resuming goods transport, and import and export activities in the country. The prime minister is himself in favour of resuming the transport activities in the provinces.
All shopping malls, markets, and other business places have been closed in most parts of the country in order to restrict public gatherings. However, the provincial governments have allowed grocery, vegetables and other shops related to edible items to continue the business.
