KARACHI: Six more people have died in Pakistan due to the coronavirus, taking the death toll to 6,365.
According to the data released by the National Command and Operations Center, 441 new cases of coronavirus were reported in the country and the total number of cases has reached 299,855.
The number of active cases of corona in the country has come down to 5,540 and so far 287,950 coronavirus victims have recovered. The National Command and Operations Center said that 25,081 tests were performed on coronavirus in the last 24 hours and so far 2,850,121 tests on coronavirus have been conducted across the country.
The number of coronavirus cases in Sindh has reached 131,115. Punjab 97,461 cases, 36,755 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 13,321 in Balochistan, 15,804 in Islamabad, 2,356 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and 3,137 in Gilgit.
The death toll from the coronavirus has risen to 2,213 in Punjab and 2,436 in Sindh, compared to 1,256 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 177 in Islamabad, 145 in Balochistan, 73 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 65 in Azad Kashmir.
