KARACHI: Coronavirus has claimed another 58 lives in Pakistan, taking the total death toll to 10,105.
According to the National Command and Control Center, 2,475 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 479,715. In Pakistan, 435,073 patients of coronavirus have recovered and 37,080 are undergoing treatment. The condition of 2,206 patients across the country is critical.
The highest number of deaths due to coronavirus was in Punjab where 4,013 people lost their lives while 3,533 in Sindh, 1,638 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 416 in Islamabad, 101 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 183 in Balochistan, and 221 in Azad Kashmir.

The number of coronavirus cases in Islamabad is 37,702, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 58,379, Sindh 2,14,425, Punjab 1,37,949, Balochistan 18,148, Azad Kashmir 8,256 and Gilgit-Baltistan 4,856. According to the National Command and Operations Center, the rate of corona positive cases across the country has risen to 5.92 percent. The coronary positive case rate in Karachi is higher at 13.84 percent.
Hyderabad has 8.79 percent, Swat 7.89, Azad Jammu and Kashmir 2.14, Balochistan 4.95, Islamabad 3.98, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 5.87, Punjab 4.44, and Sindh 8.40 percent positive cases. The condition of 2,219 coronavirus patients across the country is critical.
