ISLAMABAD: At least 460 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan while 10 more civilians have died of the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,280,822 people were infected with coronavirus across the country, while 28,638 people lost their lives to the virus.
During the last 24 hours, 41,131 tests were performed for the diagnosis of the virus, bringing the total number of tests to 21,525,597. Across the country, the corona test result was 1.11%, while the number of critical cases was 1,044.
During the last 24 hours, coronavirus was defeated by 336 people across the country, bringing the total number of healthy people to 1,229,683. The highest number of deaths due to coronavirus was in Punjab where 442,162 people fell victim to the virus while 12,986 died. In Sindh, 473,561 cases of corona and 7,609 deaths were reported.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a total of 179,346 people fell victim to coronavirus while 5,809 died. In Balochistan, 33,422 cases of the virus and 358 deaths due to corona were reported.
In Azad Kashmir, 34,521 people were infected with corona and 741 died. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,404 cases were reported and 186 civilians lost their lives. In Islamabad, 1,07,406 cases and 949 deaths were reported.
