There has been a report that Sarmad Khoosat’s most controversial movie ‘Zindagi Tamasha’ has been given a green signal by the MoIB for its release in Pakistan after a year of debate.
According to details, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MoIB) has cleared the movie for broadcast. However, Sarmad Khost had informed the censor board in a written application that despite the approval of the screening of his upcoming film ‘Zindagi Tamasha’, efforts are being made to stop its release in the country.
The film has already passed by the three censor boards of the country. However, after watching only a two-and-a-half-minute trailer, some people lodged a complaint against it on the basis of assumptions. According to Khoosat, the movie is not about any sect or religion. The main theme of this film is just intolerance.

According to Baaghi TV, a few parts of the movie have already been censored movie has been censored and cut off from the film and soon the film will be screened. Since the film’s teaser arrived followed by its trailer, the movie Zindagi Tamasha was immediately shunned by the censor board.
The film was supposed to be released in cinemas on 24th January 2020 but the government stopped screening by protest from a religious party. The government decided that the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) would be consulted to determine if the movie was suitable for public exhibition. In July, the Senate Functional Committee on Human Rights approved the long-awaited and dismissed the objections raised against the film.
The film, written by Nirmal Bano is directed and co-produced by Khoosat along with his sister Kanwal Khoosat. The film chronicles the chaos that ensues in the life of a devout elderly man when a video featuring him gets uploaded onto social media.
