ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi has filed a contempt of court plea against the Sindh government for not making the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) Report public.
Sharing the news, the minister took to Twitter and wrote, “Till date, they have not released JIT reports of Uzair Baloch, Nisar Morai and Baldia factory fire that the SHC ordered on 28th January 2020. Many mentioned in the JITs are still sitting in the assemblies. Some police officers named are still serving as well. Law must take its course.”

In another tweet, Ali Haider Zaidi also appreciated Barrister Omar Somroo for his courage and determination for following up and fighting this case for more than two years.

He also assured that Prime Minister Imran Khan would advocate and practice full disclosure so that all those involved in illegal activities are exposed publicly.
