KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi has released a new price list of vegetables.
According to the list released by Commissioner Karachi Salim Rajput, the price of first-grade potato is Rs 75 per kg, large onion is Rs 109, small onion is Rs 78, first-grade cauliflower is Rs 35 and second-grade cauliflower is Rs 21 per kg.
Vegetable prices skyrocket in Karachi amid soaring inflation
In the published list, the price of gourd is Rs 38, Zucchini first class Rs 32, Zucchini second class Rs 23, tomato first class Rs 168, and tomato second class price is fixed at Rs 117 per kg.
On the other hand, prices of ghee and cooking oil have been reduced at all utility stores across the country, from Rs 23 per kg to Rs 38 per kg. Apart from this, the price of cooking oil was reduced from Rs.13 per liter to Rs.36 per liter.
A spokesperson for Utility Stores said that the new prices have been implemented immediately, and the reduction is for the convenience of the general consumer.
