The weather in Karachi has changed again, and cold has returned in March, with a minimum temperature recorded at 13 degrees Celsius، as reported by national media.
According to a report, recent rains and snowfall in the country have increased the cold, and Karachi’s weather has also changed due to cool winds, with the minimum temperature recorded at 13 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department has stated that cold and dry winds are expected to continue in the city until night, while an increase in heat intensity is expected from Friday.
Balochistan has also been affected by an unusual cold wave, with Quetta and Ziarat recording temperatures of minus four degrees Celsius. In Murree, snowfall has stopped, but with up to one foot of snow, the temperature has dropped to minus three degrees.
On the other hand, Islamabad is expected to experience dry and cold weather with strong winds, while most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will have cold and dry conditions. In the northern regions, severe cold is expected during the morning and night hours, while strong winds are likely in the plains.
Most districts of Punjab will experience dry and cold weather, with strong winds expected. Interestingly, Karachi’s weather fluctuations continue throughout the year. The repeated return of cold has become a norm, often described as the second, third, and even fourth wave of cold.
This year, the cold began in November, lasting through December and January. Its intensity started to decrease in February and was expected to end in March, but once again, there has been a noticeable increase in cold.
