Zulfiqar Ahmed, a prominent businessman and owner of Paracha Textiles, Meezan Oil, and Cola Next, has reportedly gone missing in Karachi.
According to family sources, Ahmed was last seen being forcibly abducted by masked armed men on Mauripur Road in Keamari. The men reportedly forced Ahmed and his partner, Qaiser, into a double cabin vehicle at gunpoint.
Eyewitnesses have indicated that Qaiser was released shortly after the abduction, but Ahmed remains missing. Despite efforts by the family to file a First Information Report (FIR) at the local police station the following day, the police have yet to register the case.
The family’s challenges in securing a formal report highlight ongoing concerns about the handling of the case.
