Funeral prayers have been offered for Captain Kashif who was martyred in Balochistan province and has been buried with military honors.
According to details, Captain Kashif was martyred when his vehicle collided with a landmine in Panjgur yesterday. Two soldiers injured in the blast are being treated.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and people from all walks of life attended the funeral prayers of Captain Kashif Shaheed in large numbers. He was buried with military honors.
It may be recalled that earlier a vehicle of security forces collided with a landmine in Balochistan province as a result of which Captain Kashif was martyred while two youths were also injured in the blast. Security forces killed a terrorist in a new operation in North Waziristan.
According to a statement issued by the Public Relations Department (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, a vehicle of the security forces collided with a landmine at Gachak district of Panjgur city of Balochistan yesterday.

According to ISPR spokesman, the security forces vehicle was attacked by terrorists. Immediately after the terrorist attack, the injured were shifted to Khuzdar for treatment.
Earlier last month, a security forces vehicle collided with a landmine in the coastal city of Pasni in Balochistan, killing Captain Affan Masood and soldier Babar Zaman. Security forces killed a terrorist in the Boya area of North Waziristan in July last year on a tip-off, while the search for others continued.
