Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman discussed a range of issues aimed at enhancing bilateral relations during a meeting in Saudi Arabia.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a statement regarding the meeting, stating that General Asim Munir is on an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During his visit, he engaged in a comprehensive discussion with the Saudi Crown Prince on a range of issues.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief and Saudi Prime Minister discussed a variety of topics, including regional peace, defense and security cooperation, as well as strategies to enhance bilateral relations in alignment with mutual interests.
The Army Chief expressed gratitude to His Royal Highness for his unmatched support for Pakistan and acknowledged his prestigious role in fostering peace and stability in the region. The COAS also met separately with Prince Khalid Bin Salman, the Defense Minister of Saudi Arabia.
ISPR states that Saudi Prince and Defense Minister Khalid Bin Salman, along with the Chief of Army Staff, vowed to further strengthen cooperation in the domain of defense and security.
COAS also held meetings with H.E. Engineer Talal Abdullah Al-Qtaibi, Assistant Minister of Defense; Air Chief Marshal Fayyadh Bin Hamed Bin Raqeeb Al Ruwaili, Chief of General Staff of the Royal Saudi Armed Forces; and H.E. Lieutenant General Fahad Bin Saud Al-Johani, Chief of the Royal Saudi Land Forces.
