KARACHI: The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has issued a closure schedule of the compressed natural gas (CNG) stations in the Sindh for 24 hours.
According to a notification issued by the SSGC today, CNG stations across Sindh including Karachi have been closed from 8 am to 8 am untill Saturday.
Sui Gas officials said that the stations running on RLNG will remain open, gas supply to RLNG stations is uninterrupted. Complaints of reduction in gas pressure in Korangi, Site North Karachi and Superhighway, gas cut off in residential areas were filed.
Gas shutdown continues in Lyari, Nawa Lane, and Chakiwara areas. The gas cut-off is underway in Baldia Saeedabad, 24 markets, and adjoining areas of Karachi.
Gas shutdown is going on in New Karachi Duachok, Sector 11 and Sector 9 areas. Complaints of the gas shutdown are also being made in several areas in Manghopir.

Complaints of gas cut-off are also being made in Banaras and Site areas. Gas supply has been affected in Quaidabad, Gulshan-e-Buner, Landhi-89, Landhi-4, and Korangi.
Gas supply in different units of Korangi Crossing has also been affected while gas supply in different apartments in Gulistan-e-Johar Block-19 has been affected. Residents of Malir Saeedabad, Shisha Gali, Zakia Palace and Khokhra Par also complained of gas cut-off.
