ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Imran Khan today in the federal capital.
Both Imran Khan and Usman Buzdarwould discuss the chief minister’s meeting with the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leaders over political matters.
Earlier, Buzdar met the PML-Q party which handed over him a copy of a written agreement and demanded its implementation. The chief minister during the meeting supported that the government signed a written agreement with the PML-Q, and directed the IG and the chief secretary to improve their working relations with the PML-Q.
The chief minister will also attend the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) core committee meeting chaired under the leadership of Imran Khan today.
In this regard, the premier has directed all the core committee members to ensure their attendance at the meeting. The members will gather and discuss the political situation along with marking ongoing talks between the government and the opposition.
