KHANEWAL: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar is scheduled to chair a session on the law and order situation in the province today.
The chief minister will arrive in Khanewal today on a one-day visit to review the progress of different government institutions. He will also hold the meeting with office-bearers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Earlier, during his visit to Taunsa Sharif, Usman Buzdar inaugurated 13 development programs there. While speaking in a ceremony, he assured that he would bring prosperity for the undeveloped areas of the province. He also laid the foundation stone of the Government Technical Training Institute in Taunsa.
He informed that the institute would be constructed on a 100-Kanal land at a cost of Rs300 million whereas Rs627.4 will be spent on beautification of the city.
