LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar has taken an aerial view of Lahore and suburbs to review the lockdown in Punjab.
The chief minister moreover examined the situation through the helicopter visit of different places including Multan, Sahiwal, and Mian Channu. He directed to strictly enforce lockdown and precautionary measures to the concerned authorities.
Moreover, the Punjab government has extended the lockdown across the province till 21st April due to rising COVID-19 cases. The imposed lockdown was scheduled to end on 14th April but now the decision has been changed. All the measures being taken to curb the virus will be implemented strictly during the lockdown.
Punjab has the highest number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan with the provincial tally at 2,336 while the death tally has reached 19 in the province.
