The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has announced that the annual exams for class 9 and 10 have been postponed due to Ramadan.
A new schedule for ninth and tenth grade exams in Karachi has been released following a meeting of the Sindh Education Department Steering Committee. It was decided in the meeting to postpone the matriculation exams.
According to the revised schedule, the exams originally set to begin on March 16 will now start from April 7, and the practical exams for ninth and tenth grades will take place from March 10.
Moreover, the first-year and second-year exams are scheduled to begin on April 28.
Sources indicate that the Sindh Education Department Steering Committee made the decision to postpone the matriculation exams due to Ramadan.
