ISLAMABAD: The total number of coronavirus cases has increased to 1238 after confirming three new cases of the disease fearing the risk of coronavirus among the people across the country.
The district administration in this regard has issued orders as well as preventive measures for Friday prayers in mosques. According to Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, a deadly outbreak has spread in the city. Symptoms have been found in 27 patients so far, he added.
The district authorities have already issued an advisory on the fact that there is a large number of people coming from outside the city due to the outbreak.
The Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad has conveyed a message to the scholars that those who have their staff in the mosques, Khadam, Mozin, Khateeb or Imam, must remain in the mosques. In addition, all other people are requested to pray in their homes, he added.
According to the Deputy Commissioner, it is raining in Islamabad and a fear of the spread of the coronavirus is still among the citizens, he added.
DC Islamabad advised not to put your family’s lives in danger by going to mosques and stay at home as the Section 144 has been enforced in the city. “We cannot cope with this deadly epidemic without taking preventive measures,” he said.
