In the popular crime series CID, Season 2, Episode 63, an unexpected twist was seen in which Dr. Salunkhe made a return after a long time, as reported by Indian media.
The surprising thing was that the person held in custody in the guise of Dr. Salunkhe turned out to be someone else. Both the CID team and the viewers were shocked when it was revealed that Dr. Salunkhe’s face was merely a mask, and the real Salunkhe is still missing.
The episode begins with a man’s suicide, who leaves behind a letter stating that he committed a murder whose consequences could lead to the related person’s death within 72 hours.
He states that if CID acts in time, they can save that person. Investigations reveal that the man who committed suicide had been fired during a company’s board meeting, which made him harbor vengeful feelings. The person who is the target of the murder is alive, but time is short.
The CID team investigates the board members of the affected company. Each member has their own explanations and justifications, but everyone’s stories seem suspicious.
Doubt arises when it is discovered that a board member, Raman, is actually Ramu — the last person the deceased was speaking to on the phone. Raman had reduced the deceased Sarthak’s shares from 33 percent to just 0.3 percent, which caused him immense distress.
