ISLAMABAD: Chinese President Xi Jinping along with his high-level delegation is expected to visit Pakistan this year in June.
This news was confirmed by the Foreign Office spokesperson Ayesha Farooqui today during her weekly briefing, she added by saying that the Chinese FO was in contact to finalize the schedule of his President’s visit.
While commenting on the ban on Umrah pilgrims placed by the Saudi government, Ayesha Farooqui said that the contact has been made they are in contact with the Saudi Arabian authorities over the matter.
Farooqui expressed Pakistan’s concern over arms deal between the United States and India and said that the arms race in the country would intensify conflict in the region.
Earlier in February, she said that India was trying to divert the attention of the world from occupied Kashmir. She dismissed the recent allegations of Indian leadership on mistreating the minorities and said that actions against Muslims taken by the Indian government were not hidden.
FO spokesperson said that the Indian government was diverting the attention from its brutalities in the Kashmir and from mounting protests in their own country.
