China grants visa extensions to Pakistani nationals in Urumqi

ISLAMABAD: The Chinese authorities granted an 11-day visa extension to Pakistani nationals stranded in Urumqi city of Xinjiang due to the non-availability of flights in view of coronavirus.

According to details, the Pakistani nationals include students and other members who are doing jobs here.

The Pakistani nationals have been provided food and hotel accommodations till the flights resume between Urumqi and Islamabad.

Pakistan embassy in China was in contact with the nationals and no difficulties were being faced by the nationals.
