More than a month has passed since Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s period drama Chhaava hit theaters, yet it continues to perform strongly at the box office, even in its fifth week, as reported by Indian media.
According to a report by Indian Express, the film has shattered multiple records, becoming Vicky Kaushal’s highest-grossing movie to date. Recently, Chhaava surpassed the lifetime earnings of Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, making it Rashmika’s second-biggest hit after Pushpa 2.

Earlier, Chhaava had already outperformed Pathaan’s total collection. On its fifth Sunday, Chhaava earned Rs8 crores, with Rs7.25 crores coming from the Hindi version and Rs75 lakhs from the Telugu version. After 31 days in theaters, the film’s net collection in India stands at Rs562.65 crores including Rs548.7 crores from Hindi and Rs13.95 crores from Telugu.
Chhaava’s gross domestic earnings have reached Rs661.3 crores, while the worldwide total stands at Rs750.5 crores, including Rs89.2 crores from overseas markets.

Apart from Vicky and Rashmika, Chhaava features Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in key roles. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Entertainment, the film premiered in theaters on February 14, 2025.
