According to details, the period drama Chhaava, directed by Laxman Utekar, has been delivering an exceptional performance since its release. The film, which captivated audiences with an impressive opening, is winning hearts.
Film critics believe that Chhaava saw significant growth in business on the second day. Released on February 14, Valentine’s Day, under the banner of Maddock Films, the movie had already set high expectations after collecting Rs31 crore on its opening day.
On the second day, the film earned Rs36.5 crore, bringing its total box office collection to Rs67.5 crore in just two days. This makes Chhaava Vicky Kaushal’s biggest box office opener compared to his last six films. The actor’s portrayal of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj has also been highly praised.
Indian media reports suggest that Chhaava’s 6,407 screenings across India indicate its massive popularity, despite receiving mixed reactions from Bollywood analysts. Interestingly, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta’s performances have also caught the audience’s attention.
